Episode 15: Chris Duffy-Wentzel: Surviving a life threatening illness with non-traditional practices

Have you ever wondered what opening up to integrative, alternative modes of healing could do for you?

Chris Duffy-Wentzel went through a fascinating journey of surviving cancer, and finding inner peace through opening up to Yoga, meditation, and more!

Chris Duffy-Wentzel specializes in creating self-healing wellness journeys. She’s a certified surgery and life coach. Chris partners with individuals creating a unique path to wholeness in her private practice and mind, body, spirit retreats in the beautiful Sedona area. Using the Prepare For Surgery Heal Faster Methodology, Chris helps people navigate surgery with less anxiety and improved outcomes using clinically proven mind, body techniques. And she is the other of her newly released book, “Finding The Missing Peace”.

Chris was first a scientist who learned through Yoga and meditation to go within and listen, which then opened up her mind to hearing guidance. Through all of that, she followed her path of integrative medicine and she healed without surgery.

She shares her story of what changed her life and ultimately brought her to creating the practice she offers now.

So many patients are petrified about their surgery before working with Chris and then they go through her process and they’ve got a surgeon coming into their room going, “I don’t know exactly what happened but I have never seen anybody this relaxed!”

The amazing thing about what Chris does, is anybody can learn to and be trained to really tune into their body and hear their inner self.

Chris also offers career and life coaching and what I’ve found at this time in our history, there’s so much uncertainty and chaos and fear on the planet it’s so hard not to get sucked into all of that, so finding your place where you can find your stillness is so important.
